TrustEd Apps™ Data Privacy Certification for UniMe, UniCore, and UniTrust
UniMe, UniCore and UniTrust recently earned 1EdTech Consortium’s certification for Data Privacy after undergoing a comprehensive review of its privacy policy, data security, and other safeguards.
The Data Privacy Certification identifies that an application satisfactorily meets the expectations of 1EdTech’s TrustEd Apps™ vetting rubric and its results may be found in the TrustEd Apps Management Suite. The rubric considers what data is collected, security policies and practices, third-party data sharing, and advertising practices.
The app vetting rubric was developed collaboratively by the 1EdTech community, consisting of leaders from higher education, K-12 districts, government agencies, continuing education providers, edtech suppliers and other stakeholders.
As a member of the 1EdTech Consortium, Impierce Technologies collaborates closely with educators and other edtech suppliers to create standards and best practices that benefit everyone.
